Meaning
A thin, soft food made by boiling flour, usually of maize, millet or sorghum, in water, and drunk from a cup or eaten with a spoon.
Good to know
No plural. Common kinds: uji wa mahindi, uji wa ulezi (finger millet), uji wa mtama (sorghum). It is thinner than ugali, made from the same flours.
