Meaning
The looking after of a person or a thing, and in family law the support a parent must give for a child’s food, clothes and schooling.
Good to know
Mostly used in the plural matunzo: matunzo ya watoto, child support. Built on kutunza, to look after; the prize word is tuzo, not tunzo.
