Meaning
Something that must be met before something else is allowed or done; in ni sharti it means it is necessary or one must.
Good to know
Plural masharti, which is the more common form (masharti ya mkopo, the loan conditions). Kwa sharti la means on condition of, and bila sharti means unconditionally.
