Meaning

A piece of land that sticks out into the sea or a lake, surrounded by water on three sides, such as the Korean or Arabian peninsula.

Good to know

N class noun, the same in the plural. Often part of a name with ya: Rasi ya Korea, Rasi ya Tumaini Jema, the Cape of Good Hope. Rasi also means a head or chief in a few formal titles.
