Meaning

A casual word of approval meaning fine, cool or good; also the everyday reply to a greeting such as mambo or vipi.

Good to know

Informal, does not change for class: niko poa, I am fine; kitu poa, a cool thing. Kuchukulia poa is to take something lightly. The verb kupoa is to cool down.
