Says that something happens or affects something to a great degree, such as helping, contributing or being affected a lot.

Good to know

An adverb placed after the verb: kuchangia pakubwa, to contribute greatly; kuathirika pakubwa, to be badly affected. Mostly used in Kenyan Swahili; Tanzania often says kwa kiasi kikubwa.
