Meaning
Points out one thing of the ki class and says that it is exactly this and no other, like saying this is the one or that is what.
Good to know
The focus word for ki class nouns (kitabu, kitu, chakula). Sister forms: ndiye, ndio, ndilo, ndivyo, ndizo, ndiyo. It often comes before a relative verb: ndicho kilichotokea, that is what happened.
