Meaning
Twice as much or twice as many; used after a verb of increasing, as in prices rising double, or before a noun to mean doubled.
Good to know
It does not change for class. Kuongezeka maradufu is to double, and kupanda maradufu to go up twofold. The spelling mardufu is an older variant.
