Shows that something is possible but not certain; before a verb in the subjunctive, it means unless.

Good to know

Usually at the start of the clause: labda atakuja kesho, perhaps he will come tomorrow. Sitakuja labda unipigie simu means I won’t come unless you call me. Pengine is a close synonym.
