To send something through the air with the hand, or to get rid of something unwanted; figuratively, a court may throw out a case.
Good to know
Kutupa taka is to throw away rubbish, and kutupa mpira is to throw a ball; kutupwa is to be thrown away or dismissed. Do not confuse it with ku-tu-pa, to give us, spelled the same.
