Meaning
To set something upright and firm, such as a pole, or to install equipment or a system; also to install a leader, such as a bishop, in office.
Good to know
Common with nguzo (poles), mitambo or vifaa (equipment) and mifumo (systems). The passive kusimikwa is used for a bishop or chief being installed: askofu alisimikwa jana.
