Meaning
To make something straight that was bent, such as a wire, the spine or clothes, or to stretch out a limb. Kunyoosha mkono is to hold out a hand, and in slang kunyoosha means to discipline someone.
Good to know
Takes a direct object: kunyoosha miguu, to stretch the legs; kunyoosha mgongo, to straighten the back. The intransitive kunyooka means to be straight, and nyoofu means straight, upright.
