Meaning
To work out roughly how much, how many or how long something is, without counting exactly; a government also estimates its income and spending.
Good to know
Takes a direct object: kukadiria gharama, to estimate the cost. Makadirio are estimates, as in makadirio ya bajeti, the budget estimates.
