Meaning
To decide whether someone is right or wrong, guilty or not; in court, to give a verdict and a punishment.
Good to know
The person judged takes an object marker: kumhukumu mtu. The sentence follows kifungo or adhabu: alihukumiwa kifungo cha miaka mitano. The passive kuhukumiwa is to be sentenced.
