Meaning

To leave a car, bus, plane or boat standing in a place for a time. It is the word used for parking fees, parking lots and ships coming alongside.

Good to know

Takes the vehicle as its object: kuegesha gari, to park a car. A parking place is maegesho; kuegesha gari vibaya is to park badly.
