To take cattle, goats or sheep out to graze and look after them; to guard or keep watch over something; in a separate sense, to sift flour.
Good to know
It takes an object: kuchunga ng’ombe. A herder is mchungaji, which also means a pastor; kujichunga is to take care of oneself.
