Meaning
To ask God’s favor on someone or something, as a priest or a parent does; in politics, to give approval to a decision or a plan.
Good to know
It takes an object: kubariki ndoa, to bless a marriage. The passive kubarikiwa is to be blessed, and baraka is a blessing. Kubariki uamuzi means to endorse a decision.
