Meaning
To treat a person or group unfairly because of their race, sex, religion, tribe or other difference, and also to pick out or separate some from others.
Good to know
Takes the people treated unfairly as object: kubagua wanawake, to discriminate against women. Bila kubagua means without discrimination. The noun is ubaguzi, discrimination, and the person mbaguzi.
