Meaning

Describes a person, an animal or a plant that is living and not dead.

Good to know

An adjective that does not change with the noun; it usually follows a form of kuwa or -li: yu hai, he is alive; viumbe vilivyo hai, living things. Mzima is also used for alive and well.
