A wind instrument made from the horn of an animal, blown to call people together or to announce news, and in modern bands a brass horn.

Good to know

Plural magunda (ji/ma class). Kupiga gunda is to blow the horn; baragumu is a close word. For the horn on an animal’s head Swahili says pembe.
