A hinged barrier in a wall or fence that opens to let people or vehicles in and out, such as the gate of a house, school or hospital.

Ji/ma class noun, plural mageti: geti kuu, the main gate; mlinzi wa geti, gatekeeper. From English gate; lango is the older Swahili word.
