Meaning

A plastic container with a handle, usually holding twenty liters, used to carry and store water, cooking oil or fuel.

Good to know

Ji/ma class noun: dumu la maji, a jerrycan of water; plural madumu (madumu mawili). Dumu is also the stem of the verb kudumu, to last.
