A large wild cat with a yellow coat covered in dark spots, which hunts at night and often rests in trees; one of the big five animals.

Good to know

N class noun with m/wa agreement, the plural is also chui: chui huyu, chui wawili. Do not confuse it with duma, cheetah. Ngozi ya chui, leopard skin, is a banned trophy.
