Meaning

A small three wheeled motor vehicle used as a cheap taxi in towns, named after the Indian maker Bajaj.

Good to know

Plural stays bajaji (n class): bajaji mbili. Common in Tanzania; in Kenya it is often called tuktuk. A motorcycle taxi is bodaboda or pikipiki.
