Meaning
A short numbered part of a text: a verse of the Quran or the Bible, a paragraph of a book or letter, or a clause of a law or constitution.
Good to know
N class noun, the same in singular and plural. Aya ya tatu is the third verse or paragraph; in law, ibara is an article and aya a paragraph within it.
