Introduces a relative clause about a place or a moment, like where or when; in news writing it also adds a following fact, like whereupon.

Good to know

Used after places (mahali ambapo) and times (wakati ambapo). The ending po on the verb does the same job: mahali tulipokutana means the same as mahali ambapo tulikutana.
