Meaning

The brightness that lets us see, coming from the sun, a fire, a lamp or a screen; in speech, also understanding or hope.

Good to know

An uru noun: urumuri rwinshi, much light; urumuri ruke, low light. Kumurika is to give light, itara is a lamp. Kirundi also says urumuri, but its everyday word is umuco, which in Kinyarwanda means culture.
