Meaning
A person who has lost their reason or has a serious mental illness. It is also said, often as an insult, of someone who acts in a wild or foolish way.
Good to know
Plural abasazi. It comes from gusara, to go mad, and madness is ubusazi. Calling someone umusazi is rude, so use it with care.
