Meaning

Stresses that it is I and no one else: nanjye ubwanjye, I myself. It adds weight to njye, I, or to a verb in the first person.

Good to know

Usually after njye or nanjye: njye ubwanjye nabibonye, I saw it myself. The other persons are ubwawe, yourself, and ubwe, himself or herself.
