Meaning
Introduces the hour when telling the time: saa tatu, nine o'clock. Rwandan time counts hours from six in the morning, so saa moya is seven o'clock.
Good to know
The hour number follows: saa mbiri, eight; saa sita, noon or midnight; saa kumi, four in the afternoon. Add za mu gitondo or z'ijoro for the part of the day. A loan from Swahili saa.
