Meaning
A protected area where wild animals and plants are kept, such as Akagera or Nyungwe. In court news it also means the public prosecutor's office, from French parquet.
Good to know
Usually parike y'igihugu, national park. The spelling pariki is also common. In Rwanda the prosecution is now called ubushinjacyaha, so parike in that sense mostly appears in older or foreign court news.
