Meaning
The usual way to tell one person that you love them, said to a partner, a child or a friend. It is the verb gukunda, to love, with nda for I and gu for you.
Good to know
Add cyane to say it more strongly: ndagukunda cyane. To several people say ndabakunda, and I love him or her is ndamukunda.
