The direction and the region toward the north. Intara y'Amajyaruguru is Rwanda's Northern Province, around Musanze.

Good to know

The full form is amajyaruguru; it loses its first vowel after mu and ku: mu majyaruguru y'igihugu, in the north of the country. The other directions are amajyepfo, south; iburasirazuba, east; iburengerazuba, west.
