To do harm to oneself, one's health or one's future, for example through drugs, bad habits or wasted time.
Good to know
Reflexive of kwangiza, to damage. Often said of drugs and alcohol: kwiyangiza ukoresheje ibiyobyabwenge, to ruin oneself with drugs. The past is yiyangije.
