Meaning
Said of plants and fields, to give a harvest or fruit, and of crops to ripen well. It also means to be white or clean, and in church language to be holy.
Good to know
Past -eze: imyaka yeze, the crops have ripened; umurima weze, a field that yielded well. In the sense of white or holy: umwenda wera, a white cloth; Umwuka Wera, the Holy Spirit.
