To save a person or a thing from danger, a fall or ruin, often at the last moment; literally to catch someone who is falling.
Good to know
The one saved is the object: kuramira umwana, to rescue a child. Very common in kuramira ubuzima, to save lives, said of doctors, rescuers and medicines.
