Meaning
To show or launch something publicly for an audience, such as an album or new products, or to give light to someone. In Rwandan news the first sense is the usual one.
Good to know
Applied form of kumurika, to shine, to present: the audience is the object and the thing shown follows (kumurikira abakunzi album, to launch an album for the fans). The launch sense is Kinyarwanda only; Kirundi kumurikira means only to shine a light for.
