Meaning
To kill and cut up an animal for its meat, such as a goat or a cow. In medicine it means to operate on a patient, to cut the body in surgery.
Good to know
Passive kubagwa: kubagwa n'umuganga, to have an operation. The slaughterhouse is ibagiro and the butcher umubazi.
