The physical strength or effort a person or a thing has, and the power to do or change something. It is also the word for energy, as in ingufu z'amashanyarazi, electric power.

Good to know

An n class noun with a plural sense: ingufu nyinshi, great strength. Ku ngufu means by force, against someone's will. Imbaraga is a close synonym.
