Meaning
The high, trilling cries women make to celebrate, at a birth, a wedding, a homecoming or a victory. The same name is given to the chimpanzee.
Good to know
Used with the verb kuvuza: kuvuza impundu, to ululate. Impundu is also the Kinyarwanda name of the chimpanzees of Nyungwe forest.
