Meaning
The first child born to a parent or a couple. It also names a person of noble character, honest and generous, as in umuntu w'imfura.
Good to know
The same in the plural (n class). Imfura yanjye, my first-born; umwana w'imfura, the eldest child. Ubupfura is nobility of character.
