A pronoun that stands for a noun of the ki class already known and ties it to its owner or its rank: icya Kalisa, Kalisa's; icya mbere, the first thing.
Good to know
It agrees with the noun it replaces: icya for igitabo or ikintu, iby' before a vowel in the plural (iby'abana). Icya mbere often opens a list: first of all.
