Meaning
Stands for plural things of the ibi class, such as ibintu or ibikorwa, and links them to what they concern, like English 'the matters of' or 'those of'.
Good to know
It is ibi plus the joining a, with the noun left out: ibya muzika, music matters. Before a vowel it becomes iby': iby'ubuhinzi, farming matters. Other classes work the same way: iya mbere, the first one; icya kabiri, the second one.
