Meaning
To leave something to someone, such as an inheritance, a key or a task, or to leave a lasting effect on someone, as an illness or a war does.
Good to know
Applicative of gusiga, to leave. It takes two objects, the person first: gusigira abana umurage, to leave the children an inheritance; indwara yamusigiye ubumuga, the illness left him disabled.
