Meaning
To put money into a business or a project in the hope of profit, usually in gushora imari. Its older sense is to drive cattle to the watering place, and from it to push someone into a fight or a situation.
Good to know
The money follows: gushora imari mu buhinzi, to invest in farming. An investor is umushoramari and an investment ishoramari. Gushora inka, to take the cows to water.
