Meaning

Asks how things are or how something went, agreeing with bi things: bimeze bite?, how are things? Alone, bite? is a casual greeting, like English how's it going.

Good to know

The reply to bite? is ni byiza or ni sawa. With other nouns the form changes: umeze ute?, how are you?; urugendo rwagenze rute?, how was the trip?.
