A lasting condition of the body or mind that limits what a person can do, such as being unable to walk, see, hear or speak.

Good to know

A bu noun with no plural; people with disabilities are abafise ubumuga or abagendana ubumuga, and a disabled person is umumugaye (plural abamugaye). Kinyarwanda uses the same word.
