to go to a stated place; when no place is named, 'kugenda' is used instead; also used as an auxiliary meaning 'to always, continually'.

Good to know

requires a named destination, e.g. 'kujya ku ishuri' = to go to school; also forms habitual constructions, 'ajya avuga' = he always says.
