an attributive stem (-kuru) that attaches to nouns of any class, e.g. umukuru (an elder/leader), inzu nkuru (a main house); it never means physically big.

Examples

  • Ivyo ni ibintu bikuru.Those are important matters.
  • Umusozi kuru ntiwuvuga ubunini, ahubwo uvuga icubahiro.'Kuru' does not describe size, it describes status.
